Sensitive formula, No Bi-Carb Soda, Low Fragrance, no Beeswax (It’s vegan deodorant y’all)
Ingredients:
Shea Butter, Tapioca Starch, Kaolin Clay, Coconut Oil (Fractionated), Coconut Oil (Virgin), Grape Seed Oil, Magnesium Hydroxide, Xanthan Gum, Stearic Acid (plant-derived) Fragrance Oil Coconut Fragrance, Lime & Sandalwood Essential Oils, Calendula Oil, Tea Tree Oil, Rosemary Extract Oil.
Shelf Life:
6 - 8 months if respected! (Don’t introduce H2O (aka water) into your deodorant paste.. this is a recipe for a rash to form under your arms!)
There are no chemical preservatives, so your de-odor-paste won’t last as long as traditional deodorants, love it and it will love you long-time - simple
Why these ingredients, you ask?
Shea Butter: We use organic shea butter, it’s high in Vitamin E, moisturises the skin & glides on better than butter (our secret, we whip it). Shea butter is anti-inflammatory and soothes the skin. It helps with application and makes it last all filppin day, yay!
Tapioca Starch: A natural root vegetable that absorbs moisture and helps keep you dry, but doesn’t block pores or stop you sweating - ahh-men
Kaolin Clay: One of our favourite ingredients. Kaolin clay has a neutral pH and is a fine powder that is soothing to the skin. Not only does it absorb moisture and increases blood circulation, but it’s also a detoxifier, clinging to pore-clogging impurities such as dead skin cells and bacteria and stops odour from occurring. Did we mention it can help calm irritated skin!
Coconut Oil: Is a wonder ingredient, it’s anti-microbial, anti-bacterial, anti-viral, anti-fungal, and hydrating! It helps the skin’s connective tissues stay strong, neutralises odour, all while helping with consistency and application.
Grape seed oil: Has been found to promote healing of damaged vascular structures and to have free radical generating abilities to destroy bacteria which may compromise healing and fights odour.
Sodium Bicarbonate (Baking Soda): Is a good fit for most people. Like all our deodorants, it’s aluminium-free and allows your body to sweat out toxins as Mother Nature intended. The active ingredient, Sodium Bicarbonate, works to eliminate body odour caused by bacteria (remember, sweat is odourless). But some people are sensitive to the alkaline pH of baking soda, and therefore need an alternative solution. (Try our Sensitive formula This is Me – No Baking soda and low fragrance formula)
Magnesium Hydroxide: Is derived from an alkalizing mineral that helps neutralise odour. It is an antibacterial powder that calms as it lowers cortisol (the stress hormone) levels and improves cellular processes. It’s effective at detoxifying the skin and treating sensitive skin areas whilst staying on the surface of your skin and won’t inhibit the body’s natural sweating process.
Calendula OIl: Naturally anti-bacterial & supports a healthy lymphatic system. It’s also useful in preserving/stabilising the paste naturally.
Tea Tree Oil: Its primary function is to aid in the shelf life and stability of this natural product. Tea Tree is an antioxidant, anti-bacterial and anti-fungal oil. Boom!
Rosemary Extract: Is an anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory and has been shown to reduce cortisol levels (the stress hormone) Yes please.
If you are switching from an antiperspirant, give your body a couple of weeks to cleanse out toxins and adjust to our aluminium-free formula. A pit detox can aid this process
Application:
Take just a pea-sized amount of paste on your (clean & dry) finger.
Rub into (clean and dry) armpits
Wait 2min until it’s absorbed before dressing.
Smell sexy all day long!
